Dance Class
Scofield Christian School has partnered with White Rock Dance to provide all students from Pre-K3 through 6th grade the opportunity to show off their dance moves!
Dance is a fun and encouraging way to nurture your child's physical development along with their self-esteem, focus, determination, and confidence. During dance class, the goal is to make students feel as unique and talented as they are. Classes are divided by age.
Dance class happens during school hours so no need to add an additional extra-curricular activity to your afternoons or weekends. Dancers will have the opportunity to show off what they have learned in costume and on stage.
There are several performances throughout the year during chapel along with a Winter Show in December and a Spring Show in May.
Dance Classes Offered:
Combo Ballet/Liturgical:
Dancers will learn the beginning fundamentals in Ballet/Liturgical. Students will also perform a chapel dance during the school year. Classes are 45 minutes long meeting four times a month.
Boys Only! Hip Hop:
Hip Hoppers will work on footwork, musicality, and combinations that rock! Students will also perform a chapel dance during the school year. Classes are 45 minutes long meeting four times a month.
Combo Girls Hip Hop/Jazz:
Hip Hoppers will work on footwork, musicality, and combinations that rock! Students will also perform a chapel dance during the school year. Classes are 45 minutes long meeting four times a month.
