Character Education
Recognizing the importance of non-cognitive skills, interpersonal abilities, self-awareness, and academic stamina, our Honorable Character curriculum helps our teachers and staff foster and strengthen our students' social and emotional abilities.
Character traits that are recognized and rewarded are:
Honor: Give preference to one another. Romans 12:10 NAS

Diligence: Whatever your task, work at it heartily. Colossians 3:23 AMP
Wisdom: Who among you is wise? Let him show by his good behavior. James 3:13 NAS
Kindness: Be kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving. Ephesians 4:32 NIV
Self-Control: Be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger. James 1:19 NAS
Orderliness: Let things be done decently and in order. 1 Corinthians 14:40 KJV
Service: Serve one another in love. Galatians 5:13 NIV
Attentiveness: Hear and increase in learning. Proverbs 1:5 NAS
Cooperation: Look beyond your own interests and consider others. Philippians 2:4 NAS
Initiative: Be doers of the Word, and not hearers only. James 1:22 NIV
